The instruments
Handmade flamenco guitars.
Every one different. On purpose.
Each Cadizsound guitar is built by hand, one by one, using solid tonewoods and traditional flamenco construction. No shortcuts. No factory lines. No two guitars are identical.
Blanca or Negra?
Two types of flamenco guitar. Two different sounds.
The choice between a blanca and a negra is not just about aesthetics — it is about the sound and feel you are looking for. Both are genuine flamenco instruments. The right one depends on your playing style and repertoire.
Flamenco Blanca
Dry. Percussive. Traditional.
The blanca uses a spruce top with cypress back and sides. It produces the classic flamenco sound: bright, dry, fast attack, short sustain. The body resonates immediately and stops when you want it to. This is the sound of traditional jondo flamenco.
✓ Fast, percussive attack
✓ Bright, cutting tone
✓ Ideal for traditional flamenco styles
✓ Lighter body weight
Flamenco Negra
Warm. Complex. Versatile.
The negra uses a cedar top with rosewood or maple back and sides. It has more warmth, depth and sustain than the blanca — closer to a classical guitar in some respects, but still fundamentally a flamenco instrument. Favoured by players who blend styles or work in contemporary flamenco.
✓ Warmer, fuller tone
✓ More sustain and harmonic complexity
✓ Versatile across flamenco and fusion styles
✓ Rich projection for stage use

Construction
What every Cadizsound guitar includes.
These are not options or upgrades. This is the standard we build to on every instrument, regardless of model.
Standard specifications
Solid tonewoods throughout
No laminates, no veneers, no composite tops. Every component that affects sound is solid wood, chosen by hand.
Individual voicing
Each guitar is voiced after assembly — top thickness adjusted, bracing tuned — until the response meets the flamenco standard.
Traditional fan bracing
Lighter than a classical guitar, designed for faster response and shorter sustain. The internal structure is built for flamenco technique.
Flamenco action
Low action set specifically for flamenco playing — golpe technique, fast picado runs, rasgueos. Not classical guitar geometry.
Built in Spain
Every guitar is handmade in Spain by experienced luthiers. Not imported, not assembled from parts. Made here.
Inspected before delivery
Each instrument is played, adjusted and verified before it leaves. We don't ship guitars that don't meet the standard.

Flamenco guitars have lower action, lighter bracing, shorter sustain and a faster response. They are designed for percussive flamenco technique.
