Made to be played
Comfort, action, voicing and response come before decorative effect. A guitar has to work in the hands first.
About CadizsoundHandcrafted flamenco guitars from Spain
Cadizsound connects serious players with handcrafted Spanish flamenco guitars built one by one, with solid tonewoods, traditional methods and a demanding ear for response.
Our mission
Cadizsound exists for musicians who want more than a beautiful object. We focus on balance, projection, playability and authenticity so the guitar supports the player instead of distracting from the music.
Each instrument is treated as a living combination of wood, time and skilled judgement. The right guitar should feel direct under the right hand, stable under pressure and personal enough to grow with the player.
Comfort, action, voicing and response come before decorative effect. A guitar has to work in the hands first.
Shaping, sanding, voicing and finishing require time, patience and people who understand flamenco technique.
The materials that shape the tone are real tonewoods, selected for resonance, stability and character.
The guitars are connected to flamenco as a living practice, not as a visual style or marketing label.
The craft
Flamenco construction leaves very little room for vague decisions. Bracing, top thickness, neck geometry, finish and setup all influence how quickly the guitar speaks.
Spruce, cedar, cypress, maple and rosewood are chosen for grain, stability and response before the build begins.
A lighter internal structure helps deliver flamenco attack, clarity and a controlled sustain.
The top is evaluated and refined until the guitar feels alive, balanced and direct under the player.
Neck profile, nut width and action are prepared for rasgueos, picado, golpe and fast movement.
French polish or nitro lets the instrument breathe, preserving resonance instead of sealing it under a heavy coat.
Every guitar is adjusted and heard before delivery, because the standard is musical, not only visual.
Who we build for
Cadizsound is for musicians and listeners who care about the instrument behind the sound, whether they are developing, performing, collecting or simply listening with attention.
For dedicated learners who need a real instrument that teaches proper technique instead of limiting it.
For stage and studio players who need tuning stability, fast response and confidence before performance.
For people who value Spanish handmade work, honest materials and instruments with individual character.
For those who hear the wood, the hands behind it and the music the guitar is meant to carry.
Why Cadizsound
Our role is to make the choice clearer: explain the instrument honestly, match it to the player and keep the focus on sound, touch and purpose.
