About Cadizsound
A guitar is not just an instrument.
It is a voice, a tradition, and a lifetime companion.
At Cadizsound, we build handcrafted flamenco guitars one by one, in Spain, using traditional methods and demanding modern precision. No mass production. No compromises.
Our mission
To connect musicians with instruments that respond, inspire, and endure.
We do not mass-produce. We do not cut corners. We work with wood, time, and sound — nothing more, nothing less.
Whether you are a professional guitarist, a dedicated student, or a serious player, we focus on tone, balance, playability, and authenticity. Not trends. Not appearances.
“No two instruments are identical, because no two musicians are.”
We don't make them to look at
Every Cadizsound guitar is built to be played. Comfort, action and voicing take priority over decorative finishing. A guitar that is beautiful but doesn't respond is useless.
Skilled luthiers, not assembly lines
Each instrument is shaped, sanded, voiced and finished by experienced craftsmen who understand what flamenco demands. Patience is not optional in this work.
Selected tonewoods, no substitutes
We use solid tonewoods throughout — no laminates, no veneers. The wood you see and touch is the wood that produces the sound.
Rooted in flamenco culture
Based in Spain, at the heart of flamenco. We work with trusted artisans who understand the tradition not as an aesthetic, but as a living practice.
The craft
What goes into every guitar.
Flamenco guitar construction is specific, demanding and unforgiving. Small decisions in bracing, wood thickness and voicing determine whether the instrument will respond or disappoint.
Wood selection
Every piece of spruce, cedar, cypress and rosewood is chosen by hand. Tap tone, grain regularity and moisture content — none of this can be rushed.
Traditional fan bracing
Lighter than classical guitar bracing — deliberate. Less sustain, more attack. The structure must support the top without dampening it.
Hand voicing
After assembly, each guitar is played and adjusted. The top is thinned or reinforced until the response matches what a flamenco player needs. No two guitars are treated identically.
Flamenco neck geometry
Neck profile, nut width and action are set for flamenco technique — golpe playing, fast passages, picado. Classical guitar geometry doesn't apply here.
Traditional finishing
French polish or nitrocellulose lacquer, never thick polyester. The finish must breathe with the wood and not choke the natural resonance.
Quality before delivery
Every guitar is inspected, adjusted and played before it leaves. We don't ship instruments that don't meet the standard — regardless of when they were supposed to be ready.
Who we build for
Not everyone. The right ones.
Cadizsound guitars are made for musicians who know what they’re looking for — or are seriously on their way to finding it.
Students
Who want to grow into a real instrument
Not a beginner toy. A serious instrument that teaches proper technique and doesn't limit development.
Professionals
Who need reliability on stage and in the studio
Consistent response, dependable tuning, a sound that cuts through. No surprises the night before a concert.
Collectors
Who value craft over famous labels
A handmade Spanish guitar at a price reflecting honest work — not marketing budgets or waiting lists.
Listeners
Who listen carefully to the wood
Cadizsound exists for those who listen — to the wood, to the hands that shaped it, and to the music it is meant to create.
